The UK-Italy Innovation Award for Technology Innovation goes to Mobysign.

During the traditional ceremony organized by British Government, UK Trade & Investment (UKTI) government agency, UK Consulate General of Milan and Borsa Italiana – London Stock Exchange Group, Mobysign startup has been awarded for launching the solution for safe mobile payment and strong authentication.

The company has implemented an app that allows payments for online and points of sale payments, via smartphones and a single PIN or fingerprint, without the need to exchange confidential information, such as your credit card number, without the need off POS for accepting payments in stores.

The founder of Mobysign Antonio Bonsignore has pointed out that the app is a solution to authentication issues of eCommerce trade, such as entering passwords, credit card number or security strings (captcha) or plastics. It simplifies the payment process by eliminating the need for POS. Additionally the app can also be used for cash withdrawals, secure authentication for websites, home and mobile banking, or even to confirm our digital identity. ”

The Mobysign app allows you to perform every single operation by simply typing your phone number, nickname or username or reading a QR-Code or displaying a barcode on the smartphone display. The request for payment or authentication on the smartphone will automatically prompt you for a confirmation request that will be followed by entering the PIN or your fingerprint that will complete the transaction.
